There will be an all-new 50,000 capacity two day camping festival called Creamfields Chelmsford in 2022. It will be held at Hylands Park, which is a beautiful Grade II listed park in Essex. Creamfields is one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world.

The multi-stage festival will also give fans the chance to see the huge 15,000-capacity Steel Yard superstructure. It will be held on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June, which is the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, which has been moved to a four-day weekend this year to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The launch of Creamfields South (Chelmsford) is a big deal for the UK festival scene, and it comes at the same time as the 25th anniversary of its award-winning sister festival Creamfields North (Daresbury), which takes place every year in the heart of the Cheshire countryside and draws 70,000 people.

Since it started, the UK edition has become one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world. Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz, Tisto, deadmau5, Carl Cox, Bicep LIVE, Chase & Status, Pendulum, and The Chemical Brothers have all played there. It is one of the few festivals that has been able to make a name for itself around the world. Creamfields shows have been held in Chile, Abu Dhabi and Ibiza, as well as many cities in China.

For people who love dance music, Creamfields South is a great new addition to the UK Festival calendar. They can expect an all-star line-up of top dance music artists to be announced soon, as well.
